Add simple field to frontier post

I use the plugin Frontier Post to allow users to publish posts from the frontend. I would like to add a new ‘select field’ to the frontend form page which would allow users to choose a genre for their post. Can someone give me a clue as to how I should incorporate this idea? Normally I could figure this out no problem but I’m burnt out and running low on time. Thank you for any help.
