Add link to featured image

Hi, I want to add a field so that I can link my featured images for my custom post type (Press) to pdf files. What’s the best setup with ACF for this?

Hi @curiouslt

With ACF you can create a file field. This will allow you to upload a .pdf for each post.

Now in your template code, you need to find the part which displays the featured image, and wrap it in a link to the .pdf value.

Please read the ‘file field’ docs and also some of the ‘getting started’ articles.

This should help you load in the value and render it.
