ACF repeater – delete rows from the past

  • Hi,

I’m using ACF repeater to create a list of events and then display them in a chronological order. My fields structure:

    Field name: EVENTS
Subfields names: location, displayed_name, event_date [type: date picker]

What I’d love to do is to remove in the back end all the rows with events that are already in the past. I did some research and found this topic:
    http://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/remove-acf-programatically/
Sadly, this solution didn’t work for me (most likely because I made some mistake somewhere modifying the code, since I don’t use my fields for custom type of posts and I have problems with figuring out a proper field key).

Is there any chance someone might suggest any solution?
    Thanks,
    Entalpia
