ACF Pro not showing in Admin Menu

Hi

I have made numerous attempts to install Advanced Custom Fields (4.39) including disabling all other plugins and manually uploading the plugin. I had issues with ACF repeater not deactivating properly and decided to try the Pro version which I have installed and activated having deleted the earlier versions of ACF.

In none of the installation attempts will the plugin appeared in the admin menu.

The temp site is on http://www.ibp.axos-interactive.co.uk/ and is using the Builpress theme on WP 4.0.1

I have used advanced custom fields on another site without problems. Any Idea what am I doing wrong or any suggestions?

Hi @davidw

I am not quite familiar with the Builpress Theme but this might what is causing the issue. I would recommend you begin by switching to one of the default WP themes and if the ACF plugin appears then you will need to look for custom functions in the theme files that would be hiding the ACF plugin in the Builpress theme.

You can hide the admin panel using the following function:

add_filter('acf/settings/show_admin', '__return_false');
