Just wanted to share ACF Post Types a free plugin for registering CPT (Custom Post Types) using an ACF interface. It requires ACF, and it provides a field group. After install you’ll find it in your WP Admin menu as Post Types. Simply add a new post type, choose your settings and viola you have a new CPT.
Currently settings are limited, so it’s best used when you just want mainly default CPT. I’ll be adding fuller settings support over the coming weeks.
ACF Post Types is currently under review for inclusion to the WP plugin directory, you can find it on GitHub at https://github.com/goldhat/acf-post-types
And if it’s a custom Option Page you’re after the sister plugin to ACF Post Types is ACF Option Pages which you can get at https://github.com/goldhat/acf-option-pages. This one registers your Option Pages, again with an ACF tabbed interface.
If you find issues with using either of these plugins please open a ticket in the GitHub repo and we’ll look into resolving for future versions.
