ACF – Incompatibility with PHP7.1

  • Hello,

We want to report that our team has detected plugin ACF seems to be incompatible if running with PHP7.1
After install plugin and try to “Activate” it, it gives always an Internal Server Error (error 500). In error_log only shows the following:

    —————————
(104)Connection reset by peer: FastCGI: comm with server “/tmp/fpm-www.animacionesbrotons.com” aborted: read failed, referer: http://dev.www.animacionesbrotons.com/wp-admin/plugins.php

FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server “/tmp/fpm-www.animacionesbrotons.com”, referer: http://dev.www.animacionesbrotons.com/wp-admin/plugins.php
    —————————

This error happens only with ACF and tested with the FREE Version and the PRO Version.

After doing some test and downgrade to PHP 7.0.7 the problem doesn’t appears and the plugin can be Activated normally.

We have tried to find in the DOC which PHP versions are compatible, but seems this information doesn’t exist.

It would be nice if added to the requeriment list and also update plugin to be compatible with the last PHP version.

    Thank you.
