ACF Image Field not returning array

I love this plugin, and have been a long time supporter. thanks so much for all your hard work.

For some reason, on my local environment, the “image” field is returning an array properly, but on production, for some reason, it’s only returning an image ID. Do you have any idea why it would be doing this and how to fix it? I cannot for the life of me figure out what is happening and I’d love to not have to go in and check all of my fields to see if it’s returning an ID…

I’m using the latest version of ACF Pro.

So, we upgraded from PHP 5.3 to 5.4.XX and I think this is fixed. Would have been good to know ahead of time! Is this a confirmed problem? I couldn’t find anything on the website confirming you need to run PHP 5.4+.

appreciate your follow up — i am running 5.3.6 and have been having this problem. I will attempt to upgrade PHP and see if it works for me. cheers!
