acf gallery and wpml

Hi Elliot,

I’m using ACF Gallery v.1.1.1 and WPML CMS v.3.1.4.
I’m wondering why WPML is not be able to clone the acf gallery images in order to replicate the same content for other languages.
When I tried to translate a custom post to another language the description is ok but the gallery is empty.
I have to press “add images” and then select “uploaded to this post” in order to choose the images related to the post.
Do you have any suggestion?

I decided to use qTranslate plugin rather then WPML.
No problem with ACF Gallery with it.

I have the exact same issue. Could you open up this issue again or should I make a new topic about it ?

Hi MarekR,

I believe that this issue won’t ever be fixed.
Anyway you could try to open the same topic again but for me it’s a waste of time.

Qtranslate is much better than WPML and you are be able to translate all the ACF fields by combining QTranslate, acf qTranslate and qTranslate slug.

How do you translate the image title in the media gallery, and how do you handle the gallery for different language?

Could you give me some suggestion?
