ACF Free vs ACF Pro

If I install ACF Free then can I decide to switch to ACF Pro without missing all the fields I entered?
What are the differences between the 2 versions?

Also from ACV Pro you can switch to ACF Free if you want to stop paying the monthly subscription, don’t you need the options offered by the Pro version?

Yes, you can switch and data will not be lost. Switching from pro to free will cause the fields that pro provides to stop working, however that data save when pro was installed will be preserved, you just won’t be able to use it.
