Would Database permissions cause ACF to not save data in newly created fields?
I added a layout with two fields to a repeater, I can see the new additions in my modules on a page, but when I enter data in the fields and save (then refresh) it will not save the data.
All of this works fine in my local environment, and in our dev environment. But when I try to do the updates in the client’s environment, I get the behavior described above. In the client’s dev environment the database user doesn’t have “Drop table” or “Truncate table” rights.

I do not think that this would affect the saving of fields.
Please check whether renaming this field will report the same behavior since it is likely that the issue is stemming from a naming conflict.
