ACF backend on posts not showing all avail fields

  • Hello,
On latest versions 3.7.1 WP/ 4.3.0 ACF. On pages/posts that are utilizing ACF now all fields are not displayed.
This must have happened after a recent update.
The dropown under the WP content area only lists up to letter “D” of available fields. 30 fields only.
There are many more available but not visible for selection.

  • Hi @cdaniel09

Can you please view the page source and report any PHP error which is cutton of the end of the page.

The other possibility is that you have hit a PHP memory limit which is causing the page to simply stop at a certain point.

Can pleas also turn on DEBUG MODE in your wp-config.php before looking for any errors

    Thanks
    E

  • Thanks,
I don’t see anything related to ACF when debug.
What is recommended PHP memory limit?
    I will check that.

    Chris

  • Hi @cdaniel09

There is no recommended PHP limit. This is because every website is different and require different amounts of memory.

Perhaps you could attach some screenshots of the issue to better illustrate the problem?

You mention that there are no errors RELATED to ACF. Are there any errors at all? Even 1 PHP error could cause ACF to stop working.

    Thanks
    E
