I used to use ACF with WPML with no problems on a production website, but now with a new WordPress 4.0 (english) and the updated plugins versions, i’m not able to make it working on my local environment anymore, where i am running just these plugins:
Advanced Custom Fields — Version 4.3.9
WPML Multilingual CMS — Version 3.1.7.2
WPML Translation Management — Version 1.9.6
The main problem is that when i go to WPML > Translation management > Custom posts I’m not able to select the button Translate for Field Groups, as you can observe on this screen-shoot: http://oi60.tinypic.com/ostp9z.jpg

TEST 1
this time with WP4.0, and the JUST the older versions of the plugins on a new installation:
Advanced Custom Fields — Version 4.3.8
WPML Multilingual CMS — Version 3.1.6
WPML Translation Management — Version 1.9.5
It works fine.
_______
TEST 2
I updated the “Advanced Custom Fields” for the last version (v4.3.9):
It works fine
______
Test 3
I updated WPML for the last versions:
WPML Multilingual CMS Version — 3.1.7.2
WPML Translation Management — Version 1.9.6
Result: it doesn’t work. Apparently the problem is on this last versions of WPML. Am I right? There is something i can do?
Thank you guys!
TEST 4
One more test. This time I updated WPML for their Beta versions:
WPML Multilingual CMS — Version 3.1.8-b4
WPML Translation Management — Version 1.9.7-b4
It’s still not working.
(all the test were running on a new and clean wp installation)
Thanks for the link, that “special” remote config for “acf” in latest WPML is actually very interesting…
I updated WPML Multilingual CMS to the new Version 3.1.8.1, and WPML Translation Management to the new Version 1.9.7. The problem continues.
i updated WPML Multilingual CMS to the Version 3.1.8.2, and the WPML Translation Management to the Version 1.9.7, and the ACF Field Groups where working fine with the translations. i think this means that this issue is resolved.
