Access County Name in Maps API

Hi there,
I’m trying to figure out how to display the county name for an address. From what I can tell according to the Developers Guide for Google Maps, this should be this field – ‘administrative_area_level_2’. But I’m just getting an “Undefined Index” when I try to use print_r(explode( ‘,’ , $location[‘administrative_area_level_2’]));

What am I doing wrong?
