I would love to see the ability to hook field groups onto action hooks around the WP admin. It would open up the possibility of manually creating custom admin pages with our own action hooks, that we could then hook ACF field groups into.
My main reason for this idea is because I would like to use the WP native admin tabs (as seen in themes.php and nav-menu.php) where the JS driven ACF tabs aren’t quite suitable. i.e. when data needs to be saved within the tab before moving to another.
I think this would offer up more flexibility in grouping admin pages.
It would also be excellent if the ACF options page markup contained action hooks, as that would be another way to conditionally hook in functionality such as the WP tabs mentioned earlier.
