a category for a article

Hello,
Selecting a category for a article is not mandatory

I am using
1 field selection (or radio button) categories (it works ok)
1 XXXX field that depends on the previous field (this does not work,
the previous field does not appear in the selection)

How ?

I do not think this is possible today, so this is a new suggestion

today
Step 1
I select the format field wordpress post: video
Step 2
it appears the group fields: video

It’ works with me but problem New authors do not find (or do not understand)

tomorrow !!

first select the required input field acf post_format (taxonomy): video

Thanks for the explanation. I’m starting to understand the issue, but I still don’t know exactly what the problem is.

Can you please create a screen-cast video to help explain what is going wrong?
