5.7.9 or 5.8 Beta

  Hi
  I have a testing site for ACF and Gutenberg and was wondering what is the difference between 5.7.9 and 5.8 Beta 3. Will I need 5.8 to create custom blocks via ACF as explained here:

  Do we know the ETA for 5.8?

  As far as I am aware, acf gb blocks will only work right now in the 5.8 Beta, and everything may not work. I don’t know the eta of the 5.8 release (I am not a dev on ACF) except that they are working on issues related to gb. I believe that are many other issues that they are working on as well, so 5.7.9 may not address many other issues.
