5.6.2 Upgrade Requires Saving Taxonomies

  • Hello!

I just upgraded my ACF Pro to 5.6.2. We have a custom taxonomy on our site with about 30 custom fields attached to it. After the plugin upgrade + database upgrade, I am able to view the values in the backend of the site (Posts > Custom Taxonomy > EDIT) and they are all correct. However, on the frontend of the site (when I call get_field) the values of my custom fields are not displayed. I have to go into the Custom Taxonomy and push Save to make it work.

I know there was an update to where the Taxonomy meta is stored in this new version of ACF, but was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue the last couple of days? If I can give any more information, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Thanks!

  • Same issue here, did you solve it @clafay ?

  • Hey @z3id – I have not 🙁 I am glad I’m not the only one though.
