Add "other" option to checkbox field

  I would like to be able to add the “Add ‘other’ choice to allow for custom values” option to checkbox fields. This option is available for radio buttons.

  This has been requested quite a bit in the past. I don’t know where that request stands. I can mark this topic for the developer to take a look at when he has time.

  I would love the ability to not only have “other” but, that other be permanently added to the list of future choices. This would work like post categories. There is a list of checkboxes but, there is also a link to add a new category to the list on the fly.

  If there is another feature request like this, I would like to vote and follow it!
