Actually I’m being an ass – there are no IDs for the taxonomies I’ve mentioned.
Remi Corson has a non-ACF solution to add extra fields for variation products:

To close this thread off.
I tracked down my original issue with WYSIWYG fields not working. It was because I was using a function to re-order fields via prepend which was the culprit to ‘breaking’ the WYSIWYG fields.

I’m using ACF Pro v5.3.9.2.
Is it a plugin?
Yes. Because the built-in conditional logic doesn’t work across different field groups.

No other WYSIWYG plugins installed nor language plugin.
The WYSIWYG field is working under pages, just not on the Options page.
