Hi John,
appreciate the response, it prompted me to revisit the documentation.
Think i had been referring to outdated docs when i first looked at it.
Explains why my code wasn’t working, no idea what i had initially done

Hi 🙂
My original q was posted back in January, so my memory is a bit hazy on this now. I think part of the problem at the time may have been that I had installed the free version instead of using my licensed version

I’ll have to revisit this and take another look.
Wont be able to do so though for a day or so, will post back once I do and let you know how i fared with it.

had tried to do it without the $post in the array and it did not want to play nice.

This is for static pages.

is it possible to somehow use something along lines of

['post__not_in'] = array( 1994, 1999, 1979, 4201, 1989 )
