Disregard guys… can you tell I was too impatient. Just did a var_dump…. my bad.
Thought maybe because I cheated and not followed through with whole example. Completed extra items. Nothing looked to relate to the class but updated anyway. Same result.
Not of assistance here to the question, but curiosity… what are you trying to achieve that couldn’t be done by assigning field to the post / post type / etc like normal, whereas the block is more specifically unique to just the content within that specific post?
thoughts? I can’t be the only one.

@nblight — replicated that and it works as well. Thanks!
Confirmed as well… Can’t add/edit Groups. Using Classic Editor as well as disabling Gutenberg with…
// Disable Gutenberg
if (version_compare($GLOBALS['wp_version'], '5.0-beta', '>')) {
// WP > 5 beta
add_filter('use_block_editor_for_post_type', '__return_false', 100);
} else {
// WP < 5 beta
add_filter('gutenberg_can_edit_post_type', '__return_false');
}
*** as well as other Gutenberg disabled snippets
As I would like to create a few taxonomies on a Custom Post Type I have done for Custom Theme. The Taxonomy location works and shows the custom taxonomy I created, but when it comes to the terms I added to it, I am unable to get the location option to work for term. Considering if I choose Taxonomy location and the custom taxonomy, it will show fields in main Taxonomy edit screen plus term editing screen.
