WYSIWYG escaping quotation marks

I am trying to add a link to a wysiwyg field but it is escaping the quotation marks when I save it. It is changing <a href="/privacy-policy/">Privacy Policy</a> to <a href="\&quot;/privacy-policy/\&quot;">Privacy Policy</a>

I’m not seeing this happen.

Have you tried deactivating other plugins or changing themes?
Are you on the most recent version of ACF?
Are you using Gooberbug Gutenberg? If yes, have you tried it with classic editor plugin activated?
