Where is the tab “endpoint” setting?

I’m reading in the docs that there should be a a setting in the tab field to specify the tab field as an endpoint (to break out of the tabs function, and continue on as regular fields below that point). Where is this function? I’m not seeing it in ACF Pro 6.3.12.
