Hi. I want to use a relationship field for a “GIG” custom post type. It links it with another “VENUE” custom post type. However, for the particular use of the fields, it would be much more comfortable for me if, in the case of a particular “venue” don’t exists at the time of adding a “gig” post, to let me the option to generate it between the “gig” editor AND fill the few fields it has (the venue name [either a title field or another text field], the city [text field] and the country [select field]), not unlike one can create a new category and tag in any post editor, albeit this time with additional fields. At the moment of saving the “gig” post, it creates a relationship with a new “venue” post with all the data input. If I want to edit the “venue” in any way, I go directly to the “venue” editor rather than a “gig” page, where it now just shows in a relationship field (different “gigs” can share a same “venue”).
I have searched a bit in internet if this is possible in some way with the plugin, but I’ve only found a few topics on the forums on this very site that recommends an specific plugin that do so with ACF (called “Quick and Easy Post creation for ACF Relationship Fields”), but said plugin hasn’t been maintained by at least 3 years and I fear it don’t even work right now.
