[Validation] Allow only one instance (repeated field) to be set as 'Default'

I’m using a repeater field for adding “color swatches”. I’d like the ability for the user who is adding/editing colours to be able to assign one of them as ‘Default’. It’s easy enough to add a checkbox to the repeater field, but is there a way to validate so that only one of the repeated fields can be set as ‘Default’
