Using two post object fields

I’m going to be having a nomination cpt which has a post object field connecting to a users cpt, I need to set two fields on nominations cpt to allow a nominee and nominator to be set (from users cpt). But when the user selects a nominee I need that user to be not in the list for the nominator. How would I go about disabling the user in the next list?
