Each time I open a field group for editing, I’m presented with the message banner There is an autosave of this post that is more recent than the version below. View the autosave. Why? I am not trying to access a field group that I was in the middle of editing. I can save the field group, go back to the field groups page, reload the field group I just saved, and I’ll still be presented with the banner when I open the field group again.
When I click “view the autosave,” I’m brought to my posts admin page; I’m not actually presented with a revisions/comparison page.
I suspect there’s some database object(s) that got orphaned somewhere? What should I investigate?
+1 for this. I was just looking into this same situation and found your post. Following. I wonder if you have any fields using a filter for “acf/load_field”. I have one defining choices in a select and thought that might be related.
