Select field won't validate on frontend form

Hi there,

I have a frontend form built with acf_form(). It all works fine, except for select fields validation.
If I add a mandatory select field with the “Allow Null” option turned on, it will let me submit the form even if there’s no selected value.
If I have an empty mandatory text field, I will get a message on submit telling me that I must fill that field. That doesn’t happen on select fields, it will submit the form and show the errors on another page.

Anyone experienced this? Is there a fix or a workaround?
