Return Format option for 'Page Link' field type

I have a custom post type – competitions. I want to just get the ID of the post type.

I can get this information from the ‘Relationship’ field type. Please could you include this option for the ‘Page Link’ type (and maybe even the Page Object type – no really necessary).

The reason for this is because I’m currently using the ‘Page Object’ type and it’s not really efficient to get the entire post back when all I want is the ID.
