Require ACF PRO into free theme

Hi!

I understand that ACF PRO may not be distributed on a free theme. But there is a way to require the plugin to be installed on a theme activation?

Thanks for the question. Currently, I am not sure.
I know there is a WP plugin require script, but I’m not sure if it is compatible with premium plugins.

Have you used such a require script before?

On occasion I have used TGM. But looking for some other solution.

I’m developing a WordPress theme, and is not yet decided whether it will be free or premium. ACF Pro makes the job much faster (a lot) and am looking for ways to use it.
