Relationship field loses post type after save (continued)

Hi there,

I’m following up on this bug: http://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/relationship-field-loses-post-type-after-save/#post-15338 which was marked as Solved. However after applying the patch it continues to remain an issue.

Is there anything that can be done?
