Realationship Field max number of items?

Is there an limit how much items can add to the Realationship Field? I have a field with more than 1000 items (add by a function) but after save the page items (IDs) in the field get lost.

You’re probably running into an issue with max_input_vars https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/limit-number-fields/
