Preselect Select Box through Url-Parameter from external link

Hello Everone,

How would it be possible to:
preselect a value from a select-box with an external link like
<a href="Url-link-to-ACF-form?field=selected-value">select-value-Link</a>

does this already do the trick?:

or is there some WP/ACF-way to do this?
