Possible bug with the $post or $post_id

I cannot seem to get the $post or $post_ID info for many of the fields for the current post when I perform queries. I’m suggesting there may be a bug to investigate here.

Going to need some more information. Where and how are you trying to get the post or post ID? Some code that could be looked at/tested would be helpful.
