Permission issue… cannot access acf-group-field

  • Hi guys,

I am an Admin on our website (it’s NOT a multi-site so that’s the highest role). When I try to access wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=acf-field-group, I get this “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.” error. What could be wrong?

We have another website that uses the same plugin (I don’t think this is relevant but it’s a multisite) and it works fine. I viewed the mySQL database and saw that the user_meta values are the same, so I’m not sure why it’s saying I don’t have sufficient permissions?

I also cannot access the ACF Update page. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Lord

  • The only advice I can give you is to look in the code of the site and make sure that someone hasn’t done something to hide the admin or make it otherwise not accessible https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/how-to-hide-acf-menu-from-clients/
