Overriding nonce expiry : “are you still there”

We’ve a long front end form using ACF, which sometimes takes users a while to fill, sometimes resulting on nonce validation issues caused by the site caching and session settings.

Is there a way to keep the form alive, say by loading a ajax file in the background after 15 mins of inactivity?
