I started a new job and inherited a website that needs updating. I duplicated a field group (“Science”) being used as a page template and made some edits in the duplicate (“History”), but when I edit the WordPress page and attempt to change the template, I am not able to see “History” in the dropdown menu. Additionally, within the “History” ACF edit field group options under settings for Location Rules, I want to select “Show this field group if” page template is equal to History, but History is not appearing in that dropdown menu either. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
You need to create a custom template in WP, a page template is not automatically created by adding a field group.
