Need to set up a field for form embed code or form shortcode

I’m trying to set up a field where form embed code or even a form shortcode can be placed, however I haven’t been able to get this to work yet. Any ideas?

It is a text field? Textarea?

A textarea field with no formatting should allow the embed code. For enabling shortcodes in a text/textarea field see https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/acf-format_value/
