Hello everyone!
One of our clients decided to do a layout rehaul and wants a part of a pre-existing layout field to be made into a separate new layout as in the following example:
AS IS
layout-1
> field-1
> field-2
> field-3
> field-4
TO BE
layout-1
> field-1
> field-2
layout-2
> field-3
> field-4
ACF is cool enough to let me drag the fields from one layout to the other, although upon saving the group I lose all the values of field-3 and field-4 entered so far. (the number of which is the reason for this post 😀 )
So as the title says, is there a way to achieve my goal without losing the values and without coding something? (which I’m keeping as a last resort option)
