'Link to a page or article' field type break wp-admin when high post number

I had a huge issue caused by ACF and I couldn’t find the problem. Turns out, if a custom post type has LOTS of posts (mine had 8000+), you cannot select it in the ‘Link to a page or article’ field type. If you do select it, it will break your page in the backend

If you can’t fix it or don’t want to (for obvious UX reason), could you at least try to warn the user?

Hi @xposedbones

Please use the relationship field as this UI will use AJAX to populate the choices 20 at a time. This will not break your site.

This is not a bug, or problem with ACF, just a different tool for a different job
