I came into this project after the initial build. ACF was already installed. I was asked to add hyperlinks to some of the list elements that were being created on this page: https://sharplesworks-living.com/
If you scroll down to AMENITIES – you will see the PREFERRED EMPLOYER PROGRAM link. I set this up by adding a URL field – and when you hover, the destination displays in the bottom of the browser window. But, when you click – it triggers Community block above it and the text disappears – but no link through.
I’m also getting the following javascript error in the console:
jquery.min.js:2 Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: https://sharplesworks-living.com/sharples-works-preferred-employers/
I think it might be a conflict with something else on the page, but I’m not sure. Is it possible for me to post up the entire file, if necessary, to troubleshoot this?
You need to look into a JavaScript problem. If you visit your site with JS disabled, the link works as it’s supposed to. Somewhere, in the JS for the site, an action is being added to that link that is overriding the link.
