I’m fairly new to ACF but have been using CF7 for many years. I am using ACF to create a custom Post Type called “Staff” along with a Field Group called “Staff Information” and inside this Field Group are some Fields I populate about the staff members. One of these fields is a “Staff_Email” field.
So, if I were to create a new staff member, when I create them, there is an editable field called “Staff_Email” where I type in their email address. This email address is listed publicly on their Staff post using Divi as the Theme/Builder, and I’m listing it on other Staff posts using Dynamic Content in the Theme Builder.
I have a Contact Form (using CF7) on this staff members “Post” that I would like to re-use on every staff members Posts (ex. 20+ different staff members) but would love to be able to Dynamically populate the CF7 “Mail > To” field with the staff members email address so it gets mailed to the staff member that is currently being publicly viewed.
So simply put, ONE (1) CF7 form for 20+ different staff members that can dynamically pull the “Staff_Email” SCF field listed on their respective Post, which is built out using the Divi Theme Builder pulling Dynamic Content.
Can this be done? If so, I would love to know how with clear instructions. Much appreciated!
Anyone looking to do this, I used ChatGPT to help me build this out. Since I’m using Divi 5 to do this, your mileage my vary with what code to use. But I recommend going the ChatGPT route to build yours out.
