Including AFC PRO in a plugin when it already exists on a users WP install

Hello,

I am including ACF PRO in a plugin but have run in to a problem I can’t seem to figure out.

The problem occurs when a user installing my plugin also has a version of ACF installed on their install. Either independently or as part of their theme.

I am wondering if anyone else has come up against this issue and how they got around it?

Any ideas and advice are most welcome!
