I have a bunch of field groups for an options page. I also have created a custom dashboard page. I’d like to create a sort of wizard on that dashboard page to guide the user through the first steps of the options page, just to get them started. For example, on the options page there is a custom field called ‘Company name’. I’d like that field to be displayed on my custom dashboard page as well. Is there an (elegant) way of doing this? (I have created the custom dashboard page myself, so I can add as much as PHP code to it as I like)
What version of ACF are you using? 4 or 5
For options pages that are not controlled by ACF you can use acf_form(). With ACF5 you can set which fields appear for the form and you can set the post_id to ‘options’. https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/acf_form/
