How to display a dynamic link of a pdf in a user dashboard page (wordpress)?

I’ve been stuck for the last 5 days straight trying to figure out how to embed a pdf in a user’s account page (on elementor). I figured I would use the custom field in a user account edit page and then add a pdf of which I could return the URL by setting it to do so in acf settings. I managed to do this but the problem is when I go to Dynamic Tags > ACF link field, and select the relevant field, it doesn’t work at all. When I test the link it just links back to the dashboard page.
