Hi,
I have a client who has logged into his site and updated all his plugins and WordPress as he doesn’t routinely. He’s updated to version WordPress 5.0 with the classic editor plugin installed, but he can’t active ACF Pro due to a fatal error.
The message is Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Followed by:
Warning: include_once(/data03/c2611562/public_html/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-pro/includes/api/api-helpers.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /data03/c2611562/public_html/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-pro/acf.php on line 125
Warning: include_once(): Failed opening ‘/data03/c2611562/public_html/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-pro/includes/api/api-helpers.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php56/root/usr/share/pear’) in /data03/c2611562/public_html/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-pro/acf.php on line 125
Fatal error: Call to undefined function acf_include() in /data03/c2611562/public_html/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-pro/acf.php on line 126
Any ideas how I can resolve this issue?
Try reinstalling ACF. It looks like you’re missing a file. This can sometimes happen when updating. Download and upload ACF manually.
Thanks that did the trick!
