Get Last row values in a repeater

Hey guys!
In a nutshell: I need a snippet that does the following:
Fetch sub-field values of the LAST ROW in a repeater field and assign them to separate read-only Fields so I can use them for filtering with Admin Columns Plugin

I would do it by getting the entire repeater and popping the last row element off of it. This will return an array of sub_field_name => value pairs.

$repeater = get_field('repeater_field');
$last_row = array_pop($repeater);
