Apparently I have not learned my lesson yet. Why does ACF not alert you that the beautiful text that took you so long to craft will be tossed out the window as soon as you click Update?!
It has happened to me a few times now, and I have lost a couple hours of work. It happens after I have been away from my computer for a half a day or so. …So infuriating. I have to remember to click refresh before I begin any work.
This is not something that happens because of ACF. I’m pretty sure the same thing would happen if you left you edits open for an extended period using the standard WP editor as well.
