Delete Attached Media When Post Is Deleted

I am trying to help an animal rescue with their site. Pretty basic place to add available animals to a public location.

I have a custom field group and even a post type made in ACF. In the field group i have things like the name, age and an image. The image is set to upload to post so they cant select form the media gallery.

But i am looking for a built in way so that when an animal that is posted gets adopted, all the staff need to do is go into the list of posts, delete the post but i want the media that is attached to the post to be deleted at the same time…basically like a Facebook post.
