Custom archive functionality

Hi, I am working on a site for a musical group and need help with a custom archive functionality for the list of shows. The basic idea is to have two lists: a simpler one for upcoming shows (providing date, venue…) and an extended one for past shows (with the possibility to add pictures, videos and text). Now I am planning for a functionality to manually copy a show to the archive by integrating a button in the collapsed view of the upcoming shows list. Pressing the button will trigger a custom function that copies the show to the archive. Has anybody ever done something similar in ACF? Any help or guidance really appreciated!
I have added a simple mock-up on how the list might look with the integrated button.
